The Daddy Daughter Dance, sponsored by the Hampton Inn and Suites, is scheduled for Friday, February 3. Two sessions are available; 6 – 8 p.m. and 8:30 – 10:30 p.m. at the Mesquite Convention Center, located at 1700 Rodeo Drive.
New this year, the dance is open to all ages and participants may choose which session they would like to attend.
“The change was made to this popular event after hearing feedback from attendees who have grown up attending the dance,” said Elizabeth Harrell, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We didn’t want to see this memorable experience end for dads and daughters.”
With the continued growth of this event, tickets are expected to sell out. As a result, tickets will no longer be available at the door. Dance goers will need to purchase their tickets in advance for $15 per person, per session at any Mesquite recreation center or at the Parks and Recreation Administration Office.
Returning again this year is a door prize give-away at both sessions sponsored by Windsor Florist. Windsor Florist is also offering a 15% discount on corsages and boutonnieres. Orders must be placed by Monday, January 23 by calling 972-289-7030 or stopping by 201 West Main Street in Mesquite. Flowers will also be available for purchase at the dance.
Holland Creations Photography will offer portraits for $12 per picture beginning 30 minutes prior to each dance session.
Sweet and Sassy Salon, located at Firewheel Town Center, is offering a discount to girls who want special hair or make-up for the evening. Attendees must call 972-530-1500 to book an appointment and mention the dance for the discount.
